FIFA 18 Ultimate Team: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Dimitri Payet Top TOTW 34

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's two-goal performance for Arsenal as they thrashed Burnley 5-0 in Arsene Wenger's final home game in charge of the club has earned him a spot in FIFA 18 Ultimate Team's Team of the Week 34.    

He is joined in the starting XI by Frenchman Dimitri Payet, whose superb performance against Nice on Sunday boosted Marseille's hopes of playing UEFA Champions League football next season. 

Elsewhere, Juventus winger Douglas Costa gets an 86-rated in-form card, as does veteran forward Mario Gomez after his double for Stuttgart against Hoffenheim.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Arsenal

Gabon international striker Aubameyang has taken to the Premier League with consummate ease.

Since his transfer to north London from Borussia Dortmund in January he has netted eight goals and provided four assists in 11 Premier League appearances.

His two goals on Sunday bookended a fine attacking performance from the Gunners, while he also set up Alex Iwobi for the hosts' fourth at the Emirates Stadium, per Squawka:

Aubameyang's latest in-form card sees him boosted to a 91 rating, with his pace up at a remarkable 99.

Wenger's departure in the summer is likely to prompt plenty of change at Arsenal come next season.

With a forward of Aubameyang's immense quality in the squad Gunners fans can be hopeful of a successful transition into the post-Wenger era.

Dimitri Payet, Marseille

Payet may just have played his way into the France squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup with his performance against Nice.

Rudi Garcia's side are still chasing a top-three Ligue 1 finish that would see them into next season's Champions League—they can also qualify through the UEFA Europa League—but they went 1-0 down to Mario Balotelli's strike after just five minutes at the Stade Velodrome on Sunday.

It was an early blow that could have proved disastrous, but then Payet stepped in.

The 31-year-old beat a number of defenders in setting up Valere Germain's first-half equaliser before walking the ball into the net for the 72nd-minute winner.

His form in the second half of the 2017-18 season has been brilliant, and he will be vital when Marseille face Atletico Madrid in the Europa League final.

The performance sees Payet boosted to an 87 overall rating, with passing and dribbling (both 90) his outstanding attributes.

Douglas Costa, Juventus

A little over two weeks ago Juventus looked to be on the verge of squandering their Serie A title after a 1-0 defeat to Napoli.

Now they have effectively wrapped up a seventh title in a row after moving six points clear of the Partenopei with two games remaining.

Napoli have failed to keep up the pressure, but Juventus have also not yielded an inch, winning crucial games against Inter Milan and, most recently, Bologna.

In Sunday's home clash against Bologna, Brazilian Costa was the star man, per Italian football expert Matteo Bonetti:

Juve went a goal down before levelling through an own goal, and Costa then set up Sami Khedira and Paulo Dybala in quick succession as the Old Lady secured all three points.

His latest in-form card includes a 96 pace rating and 92 for dribbling, while he is comfortably in the 80s for both shooting and passing.
