Victor Cruz Says He'd Want to Play for Giants If He Made Return to NFL

Rob GoldbergMay 8, 2018

Although Victor Cruz had an ugly divorce with the New York Giants in 2016, he is still willing to return to the team if it will take him.

When TMZ Sports asked him who he would want to play for if given a chance, the receiver initially said "anyone" but followed it by saying the Giants. Cruz said "we'll see" in regard to returning to the field at all.

The Giants released him following the 2016 season, and he later complained that he knew they didn't want him there anymore toward the end of the year when he didn't get many touches.

While the Chicago Bears signed Cruz to a one-year deal, they released him before the start of the season, and he was out of the league in 2017.

However, the former Pro Bowler isn't giving up and recently discussed a possible return to the NFL.

"I just love the game. I think I can still play," Cruz said, per Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com.

It's clear he won't rule anyone out as he tries to make his return.
