Ex-Grizzlies Announcer Found Guilty of Photographing Women Under Their Skirts
Rick Trotter, the former public address announcer for the Memphis Grizzlies, was sentenced to two months in jail after pleading guilty to four misdemeanor counts of photographing people without their consent.
According to Linda A. Moore of the Commercial Appeal, Trotter was caught photographing up women's skirts at a church. He will be on probation for four years and has to register as a nonviolent sex offender.
Trotter, 41, was arrested in August 2016 after he was caught kneeling behind a woman while using his cellphone to take a video up her skirt during his time as a worship leader at the church.
Four women who said they were filmed by Trotter confirmed their identities in videos police found on a computer provided to him by the church, and Trotter later admitted to videoing the women in a written statement to police.
Trotter was the Grizzlies' public address announcer from 2006-2016.
