Liverpool Transfer News: Nabil Fekir, Jurgen Klopp Meeting Rumoured
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly met with Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir in a bid to try to persuade the France international to move to Anfield.
The Reds are said to be willing to spend €70 million (£61.5 million) on Fekir, and Klopp has been doing his bit to help the deal go through, per Canal Plus (h/t Aaron Flanagan at the Mirror).
Fekir has spoken about the speculation surrounding a move to Liverpool, as shown by Anfield HQ:

Klopp has also been asked about the club's interest in the 24-year-old, per Tom Munns at the Liverpool Echo:
Fekir is one of Lyon's most talented players and has had another impressive season with the Ligue 1 side. He has 17 goals and seven assists in 28 league outings.
Football writer Jack Sear said there could be something in the speculation, as Klopp often meets targets before they sign for the club:
Daniel Harris at the Guardian said Fekir is needed at Liverpool:
The Reds would certainly prove a tempting destination for Fekir. The club have qualified for the final of the UEFA Champions League and are third in the Premier League with one game left to play.
They have produced some brilliant attacking football this season, and their front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah have become a fearsome unit.
The future looks bright at Anfield, and the club have already moved to strengthen by agreeing a deal for Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, who will arrive in the summer.
Adding Fekir to the mix would enhance Liverpool's attacking play even further and would also add depth to a squad that has looked light at times this season.
However, Liverpool are not the only club interested in Fekir and may face a battle for his signature. Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are also interested in the Lyon star, per L'Equipe (h/t James Whaling at the Mirror).
Liverpool may be hoping Klopp can use his influence to persuade Fekir that Anfield is the right destination. Signing the 24-year-old would be a real coup for the club, and he looks a good fit for Klopp's team.
