DeMar DeRozan Ejected for Flagrant-2 Foul on Jordan Clarkson in Raptors vs. Cavs
Joseph ZuckerMay 7, 2018
Toronto Raptors star DeMar DeRozan likely ended his 2017-18 season in ignominious fashion after he was ejected from Monday night's NBA playoff game against the Cleveland Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena.
DeRozan earned a flagrant-2 foul with 23.6 seconds remaining in the third quarter after hitting Cavs point guard Jordan Clarkson in the head while attempting to stop Clarkson's breakaway layup:
Prior to his ejection, DeRozan had 13 points and five rebounds.
The second-round series couldn't have unfolded much worse for the four-time All-Star. The Raptors made a run late in Game 3 when he was on the bench in the fourth quarter, and he followed up by hitting the showers early when his team was trailing by 27 points in an elimination game.
