Manchester United Eyeing Juventus Midfielder Sami Khedira in Latest Rumours
Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira this summer.
According to Tuttosport (h/t Calciomercato's Kaustubh Pandey), the German has just one year remaining on his contract in Turin and United boss Jose Mourinho could be set to pursue him, making use of the pair's relationship from their time together at Real Madrid.
Khedira recently expressed an interest in moving to England before the end of his career, per football journalist David Amoyal:

The midfielder excelled under Mourinho at the Santiago Bernabeu as a tough-tackling enforcer, sitting alongside Xabi Alonso and doing a great deal of work in front of the defence.
He is now set to win Serie A for the third year running with Juventus, and remarkably, he has netted nine goals this season—the same tally he achieved in his entire Los Blancos career—as well as seven assists.
However, consistency has been an issue for the 31-year-old this season, as has his lack of mobility.
At the start of the season, Italian football writer Adam Digby described Khedira as "absolutely finished" when he struggled to make a positive impact against Genoa, a team who finished 16th last season and cannot achieve a top-half finish this year.
Digby has further been unimpressed with the Germany international on more than one occasion:
His physicality will only become more of an issue as he gets older. United need an injection of energy and dynamism into their midfield to liven up their play, but Khedira does not fit that bill—he'd likely contribute to more tepid performances from the Red Devils than he would inspire free-flowing attacking play.
They also need to be able to reach their best much more consistently than they have done if they're to eliminate lacklustre defeats to teams like Brighton & Hove Albion on the back of wins against Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Given Khedira's difficulties with consistency this season, it's unlikely he could help in that regard either.
