Jackson was a walk-on at the school before making the NFL, where he appeared in 16 games for the Colts in 2016, registering 66 tackles and two sacks.

He and Jeffrey Monroe, 54, were killed while standing outside of Monroe's car after being hit by a pickup truck operated by Manuel Orrego-Savala, 37, who has since been charged with "causing death while driving intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident," per ESPN.com.
