Steph Curry Moves to 3rd All-Time in Playoff 3-Pointers in Warriors vs. Pelicans
After connecting with his third three-pointer Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry climbed to third on the NBA's list for most made three-pointers in playoff history.
The NBA shared a replay of the bucket that moved Curry ahead of San Antonio Spurs star Manu Ginobili:
Curry now trails just Ray Allen and LeBron James. Allen retired after hitting 385 threes in the postseason, while James has 346 made three-pointers and counting.
Whether or not Curry overtakes James will depend heavily on how long the four-time MVP continues playing.
But he could potentially jump in front of Allen by next season. Curry averaged a little over 83 three-pointers over the previous three seasons in the playoffs, so catching up to Allen shouldn't be too hard for the five-time All-Star as long as he remains healthy.
