TMZ Posts Video of Gervonta Davis Stopping Fight Outside Strip Club
WBA super featherweight champion Gervonta Davis is renowned for the punching power he packs in the ring, but the American boxer recently played peacemaker in stopping a fight outside a Dallas strip club.
TMZ posted a video of Davis jumping between two arguing parties outside V Live Dallas, described as "one of the top strip clubs in the country," and club owner Damon Cobbs later confirmed nobody was hurt.
Two men can be seen fighting one-on-one among a huddle of others prior to Davis running over to intervene, almost immediately calling a halt to the physical aspect of the scrap.
Davis posted a pensive message on his Twitter account on Saturday, possibly in reflection after events escalated at V Live Dallas, where fellow boxer Adrien Broner was also in attendance:
The 23-year-old Davis (20-0, 19 KOs) is highly regarded as one of American boxing's best up-and-coming stars. Recently, Ryan Garcia called his fellow starlet out following a unanimous-decision win over Jayson Velez on Friday:
Davis last fought on April 21 versus Jesus Cuellar, winning by TKO in the third round.
