Former NFL running back Isaiah Pead jogged on a prosthetic leg Friday for the first time since he lost his left leg in a car crash in 2016.
TMZ Sports provided video of Pead walking and jogging on the new leg. He said last year his goal was to compete in the Paralympics as soon as 2020. He wants to qualify for the 400-meter run, which he also competed in during high school.
The 28-year-old spent five years in the NFL as a reserve with the St. Louis Rams and Miami Dolphins, totaling 100 rushing yards and 100 receiving yards in 30 games.
