2019 NFL Draft: Matt Miller's Early Big Board

Matt MillerMay 7, 2018

It's never too early to look ahead to the next NFL draft class and start to become familiar with the names and performance of the top players in the country. And judging by the potential of the class, it could be a very good one.

2019 will feature great players on the defensive line and at edge-rusher, but it's also top-heavy and deep at offensive tackle. That's a position the NFL hasn't had high opinions of in recent drafts, but a trio of tackles ranked in the top 15 makes next year's group look dominant.

The talk will center around three defensive linemen—Nick Bosa (Ohio State), Ed Oliver (Houston) and Rashan Gary (Michigan)—as the elite players in the class. Each has unique athleticism, production and receives high marks for their character and leadership.

The quarterback group is still being ironed out, but there are a number of good passers who could soar up the rankings with strong seasons.
