Chelsea Transfer News: PSG Targeting N'Golo Kante in Latest Rumours
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly eyeing a move for Chelsea's N'Golo Kante, and the French club's sporting director, Antero Henrique, has already held talks with the midfielder to try to persuade him into the switch.
According to RMC Sport (via Naveen Ullal of Sport Witness), Kante, who Chelsea value at around €100 million (£88 million), is a "priority target" for PSG, but UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules may prove a hindrance to the move.
PSG have more than enough financial clout to meet Chelsea's asking price for the France international midfielder.

But, per the Telegraph's Ben Rumsby, they are under investigation over the signings of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe last summer so may have to be more cautious with their transfer moves at the end of this season.

It is little surprise that PSG are interested in signing Kante, 27, as they have long been lacking world-class quality in the middle of the park.
Kante has been one of the most consistently excellent midfielders in the Premier League during the last three seasons and has two Premier League titles—won with Leicester City in 2015-16 and then Chelsea in 2016-17—and a PFA Player of the Year award to show for it.
Mbappe, a team-mate of Kante's with the French national team, recently talked up the potential of the Chelsea enforcer making the switch to the Parc des Princes, per beIN Sports (via Alex Young in the Evening Standard): "Kante, in terms of our needs and also the quality of the player. I think he's a player who'd suit our team perfectly. He's French, and bringing a Frenchman back would be good as far as the attractiveness of our league is concerned."
According to RMC Sport's report (via Ullal), PSG players have been instructed to talk publicly about potential targets in the hope it will persuade them to join the club.
