Ken Giles Punches Self in Face After Giving Up 9th-Inning HR to Gary Sanchez
Joseph ZuckerMay 1, 2018
To say Houston Astros closer Ken Giles was hard on himself after allowing a go-ahead home run to New York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez would be an understatement.
Sanchez sent a first-pitch slider over the center-field wall to bring three runs home and put the Yankees up 3-0 Tuesday at Minute Maid Park. Astros manager A.J. Hinch removed Giles shortly thereafter, and Giles took out his frustration on his own chin.

New York went on to win the game 4-0. Giles was responsible for all four runs after having allowed just two runs in his first 11 appearances this year.
