FIFA 18 World Cup Mode Release Date, Cristiano Ronaldo Trailer Revealed
FIFA 18's World Cup mode will be available for free starting May 29.
The update for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia will allow gamers to feel the "authentic tournament experience," according to EA Sports, while a trailer featuring Cristiano Ronaldo was released on Monday:
The update will initially be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch, and then on mobile devices from June 6.
EA promises features including all 12 official stadiums that will be used in Russia, match balls and "the iconic trophy."
All 32 national sides qualified for the 2018 World Cup will be available, so it will be possible to win football's biggest tournament with defending champions Germany, hosts Russia, perennial underachievers England or rank outsiders Saudi Arabia.
The tournament proper gets underway with Russia's clash against Saudi Arabia on June 14, so FIFA users will be able to whet their appetite for proceedings with the World Cup mode.
