"The club have taken me in in [sic] an incredible way and I’ve grown a lot here with my work with the support of the whole team. I am very, very happy here.
"Everything fits in the best possible way. My teammates are fantastic and I am very grateful to be able to play with them at this club.
"I love to play for Liverpool FC. The fans are excellent and fantastic in how they support us all the way. They support us throughout the games and the work they do during the match is beautiful."
Firmino, 26, joined Liverpool from Hoffenheim in 2015 for £29 million.
He has been a huge success at Anfield, combining with Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane this season to form one of the best attacking trios in Europe.
The Brazil international returned 10 goals and seven assists in the Premier League in his debut season at Liverpool, 11 and seven in his second term and has already netted 15 goals and set up seven in the 2017-18 Premier League campaign.
Per Opta, Firmino is getting better and better:
He is not a traditional No. 9 but works perfectly in manager Jurgen Klopp's attacking system and is rightly credited often for his selflessness and endeavour.
