When the Dallas Cowboys traded for former No. 8 overall pick Tavon Austin on Saturday, Ryan Switzer was a big fan of the move.

Little did he know, he would soon be on his way out of town.

After acquiring Austin from the Los Angeles Rams and spending two draft picks on wideouts, the Cowboys cleared space on the depth chart by shipping Switzer—a 2017 fourth-round pick—off to the Oakland Raiders in exchange for defensive tackle Jihad Ward.
