Shaquem Griffin, Nike Agree to Endorsement Contract Amid 2018 NFL Draft

Former UCF linebacker Shaquem Griffin and Nike agreed to an endorsement deal on Friday.

Shortly before the start of Day 2 of the NFL draft, Griffin relayed a photo of the agreement being finalized: 

Griffin, who has one hand, was one of the biggest risers throughout the pre-draft process. 

After racking up 166 total tackles and 18.5 sacks over his final two years at Central Florida, the 2016 American Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year tore up the combine by running a 4.38-second 40-yard dash, putting up 20 reps on the bench press and posting a 117-inch broad jump. 

Bleacher Report draft expert Matt Miller has Griffin projected to the Jacksonville Jaguars at No. 93 overall in the third round and has him listed as the 10th-ranked linebacker overall on his big board.
