2018 NFL Draft Rumors: Mason Rudolph, Harold Landry, Nick Chubb Trade-Up Targets
With the 2018 NFL draft set to resume on Friday evening, a trio of players is reportedly generating significant interest from teams looking to trade up.
Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Boston College defensive end Harold Landry, Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph and Georgia running back Nick Chubb are all being looked at by teams as possible trade-up targets.
B/R NFL draft analyst Matt Miller has Landry ranked as the best player still available on Day 2 at No. 15 overall.
Neither Chubb nor Rudolph are in Miller's top 50 overall players, though Rudolph is his top remaining quarterback after five players at the position were selected in the first round on Thursday.
Chubb checks in as the fourth-best running back still available on Miller's big board, behind LSU's Derrius Guice, USC's Ronald Jones and Auburn's Kerryon Johnson.
The Cleveland Browns, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Chicago Bears own six of the first seven picks in the second round. Those teams don't figure to be in the market for a quarterback, and the New York Giants—picking at No. 33—drafted running back Saquon Barkley second overall.
Day 2 of the 2018 NFL draft kicks off at 7 p.m. ET, with the potential for a flurry of activity as teams try to take advantage of bargains still available.
