Jaire Alexander Overjoyed When Ravens Pick Teammate Lamar Jackson in NFL Draft
Jaire Alexander couldn't contain his excitement for Lamar Jackson on Thursday night.
In the midst of an interview after he was selected by the Green Bay Packers at No. 18 overall, the ex-Louisville cornerback erupted in excitement when he heard his former teammate had been selected by the Baltimore Ravens with the final pick of the first round.
"'Mar!" Alexander exclaimed when he heard the news. "What?!"

Alexander then turned his attention back to the interview before expressing just how thrilled he was for the 2016 Heisman Trophy winner.
"Sorry," he added. "Lamar…it's surreal."
Jackson and Alexander won't square off in 2018 barring a showdown between the Packers and Ravens in Super Bowl 53, but it's safe to say they'll be rooting for each other from afar as they embark on their professional journeys.
