Josh Allen's Tweets About AJ McCarron's Wife Katherine Webb Surface During Draft

Buffalo Bills first-round pick Josh Allen has already apologized for racially insensitive tweets that were unearthed prior to the 2018 NFL draft, and now he may have to make a personal act of contrition to new teammate AJ McCarron.

Twitter user @HunterLJohnson shared screenshots of tweets in which Allen mentioned McCarron's then-girlfriend and current wife Katherine Webb:

Mark Heim of AL.com noted the seemingly complimentary tweets weren't entirely unprompted as they came on the night of Alabama's BCS National Championship victory over Notre Dame. During the broadcast, announcerย Brent Musburger made remarks regarding Webb many saw as inappropriate.

Still, Allen is a perfect example why it's smart to exercise caution when using social media.
