Seventeen-time MLB All-Star selection Pete Rose denied allegations of extreme debt accrued through a gambling problem in court documents filed as part of a divorce case.

On Friday, TMZ Sports provided details from the filing by Rose, who said he's more than $1 million in debt to the IRS. He also revealed he's undergone three medical procedures in the past five years because of a heart condition.

"I have NO gambling debts," Rose wrote.

Steve Gardner, A.J. Perez and Josh Peter of USA Today reported Rose's estranged wife, Carol Rose, alleged in documents last week the longtime Cincinnati Reds player and manager is a high-stakes gambler who fails to make support payments on time despite making over $1 million per year through autograph signings and other events.

The 77-year-old Cincinnati native replied by stating he makes $54,000 per month ($648,000 annually), sending $20,000 to Carol and $20,000 to the IRS monthly, per TMZ.

Rose also noted he would like to conclude the divorce case, which originated in 2011, so he can marry his fiancee, Kiana Kim.

He accepted a lifetime ban from MLB in 1989, which included no admission of guilt, after an investigation into whether he bet on baseball.
