Ezekiel Elliott Tells Saquon Barkley He 'Can't Wait' to Face Him Twice a Year

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott is looking forward to going head-to-head with newly minted New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley.

After the G-Men took Barkley with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft on Thursday night, Elliott tweeted the following:

Dallas selected Elliott with the No. 4 overall pick in 2016, and he burst on the scene by leading the NFL in rushing with 1,631 yards. The Giants are hoping Barkley will make a similar impact since they ranked 26th in rushing last season.

If Barkley lives up to his massive potential, he will take plenty of pressure off veteran quarterback Eli Manning and the passing game.

The rival Cowboys and Giants now each boast running backs with elite-level talent, and their games in 2018 could be largely predicated on which player performs better between Elliott and Barkley.
