Saquon Barkley Highest Player Picked in NFL Draft History with Female Agent
When Saquon Barkley was selected No. 2 by the New York Giants in Thursday's NFL draft, he didn't just make history himself.
ESPN's Darren Rovell noted Barkley is the highest-drafted player in NFL history represented by a woman. He signed with Roc Nation's Kim Miale, a rising power broker in the football world, out of Penn State.
Miale also represents Leonard Forunette, who was selected No. 4 overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars last year.
Barkley is the first running back to be a top-two pick since Reggie Bush went No. 2 overall in 2006. He's coming off a three-year run as the Nittany Lions' starter, emerging as perhaps the country's most versatile playmaker.
His 43 rushing touchdowns are a Penn State record, and he has the most total yards in school history for a non-quarterback.
