Austin from St. Jude Children's Hospital Announces Bradley Chubb to Broncos

Scott PolacekApr 26, 2018

The Denver Broncos selected North Carolina State defensive lineman Bradley Chubb with the No. 5 overall pick in Thursday's NFL draft, but it wasn't Commissioner Roger Goodell who announced the pick.

Rather, 17-year-old Austin Denton—who is a Broncos fan from New Mexico—called Chubb's name.

Eric Ruble of Fox 31 Denver noted Denton is "an aspiring sports journalist and St. Jude patient" who since 2007 has been in remission from oligoastrocytoma, a rare form of cancer.
