Dez Bryant: Giants Will Be 'Scary' After Taking Saquon Barkley in 2018 NFL Draft
Dez Bryant is taking notes on what the New York Giants are building.
After Big Blue selected former Penn State running back Saquon Barkley at No. 2 overall in the first round of Thursday night's NFL draft, the free-agent wide receiver referred to his former division rivals as "scary."
He's not kidding.
Beyond seasoned quarterback Eli Manning, the Giants tout a slew of weapons in Barkley, wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard as well as tight end Evan Engram.
As NFL.com's Gil Brandt and Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio noted, that group is going to be a problem for opponents:
Bryant previously told NFL Network's Jane Slater he would like to suit up in the NFC East next season so he can square off against the Dallas Cowboys twice a year.
However, it doesn't seem like that opportunity will materialize with the Giants.
According to Yahoo Sports' Jordan Schultz, New York is "not interested" in adding Bryant to the fray before the 2018 season starts.
