Roger Goodell Booed to Start 2018 NFL Draft, Jokes Fans Are Booing the Cowboys

In what has become a time-honored tradition, fans attending the first round of the 2018 NFL draft booed NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell intensely when he stepped to the podium to open up the proceedings Thursday night. 

Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times provided video from the draft:

Goodell, though, came ready with a response for those who jeered him at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. 

"I can't believe you guys are booing the Cowboys," he said after coming out on stage flanked by Cowboys legends Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman and Jason Witten. 

Of course, based on the way the Ezekiel Elliott suspension saga played out last season, it's no surprise Dallas diehards came out ready to let Goodell hear it.
