Odell Beckham Jr. Tags Saquon Barkley in Instagram Post Before 2018 NFL Draft

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had an encouraging message for the players who are about to be drafted Thursday, but the prospect he tagged stood out.

As can be seen below, Beckham tagged Penn State running back prospect Saquon Barkley in the post that read, "I was always counted out, they said I would never make it this far. Never listen to 'they.' Blessings to them boys tonight!"

The Giants have the No. 2 pick in the draft, and the dynamic Barkley would make sense. Bleacher Report's Matt Miller projected New York to take the Penn State product in his final mock draft and added, "If there is one pick in this entire mock draft to feel good about, this is it."

New York was a mere 26th in the league in rushing yards on the way to a 3-13 mark in 2017, and adding someone like Barkley would provide an immediate boost in an area of need even after signing veteran Jonathan Stewart this offseason.
