Josh Jackson may no longer play football for the Iowa Hawkeyes, but he intends on continuing an Iowa tradition as he goes to the next level.

Ahead of the first round of the 2018 NFL draft Thursday, Jackson revealed to NFL Network that when his name is called, he plans to wave to the kids at the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital from AT&T Stadium:

Last season, Iowa started waving to the hospital overlooking Kinnick Stadium at the end of the first quarter of every home game:

It's something that is bigger than football, and Jackson wants to make sure the kids are a part of his special night.
