2018 NFL Draft Prospect Taven Bryan Scolded by Dad over Money in TMZ Interview
Defensive tackle Taven Bryan revealed plans to spread the wealth Wednesday once he gets his first NFL contract, but his dad had other ideas.
In an interview with TMZ Sports, the former Florida defensive tackle who could go in the first round of the 2018 NFL draft on Thursday said that he wants to pay off his parents' bills.
Bryan's father shouted from the background, "He needs to save his money because you never know how long this career's going to last."
Bryan is coming off a strong junior season that saw him register 37 tackles and 4.0 sacks for the Gators.
Bleacher Report's Matt Miller ranked him as the No. 30 overall prospect in the 2018 draft class on his latest big board.
Miller also projected in his final mock draft that the Atlanta Falcons will select Bryan with the No. 26 overall pick in the draft.
