Florida Gators Vs. Mississippi State Bulldogs: Football Picks

The Florida Gators come into the game ranked #2 in the AP Poll and #1 in the BCS. While they are undefeated on the season and still have a good shot at making it back to another title game, they have struggled here lately. Ever since Tebow was knocked out with a concussion against Kentucky, they have had a hard time putting teams away. They beat LSU 13-3 and then barely beat Arkansas last week by a field goal. When you barely beat an up and down team like Arkansas, you know that things aren’t going as good as they could be.

The Bulldogs come in with a bad record, but they will be ready to play against Florida. Florida will get the opponents best effort each and every week with such a big bull's-eye on their chest. He has five games in a row with over 100 yards rushing and he will be a challenge for the Florida defense.

The Mississippi State defense runs a defensive scheme that has notoriously been difficult for Florida’s offense to score against. They will try to get under Tebow’s skin and get him to turn the ball over a few times.

With that being said, the Florida defense is no slouch either. They come to the table with the #1 scoring defense and the #2 defense in yards allowed. They are a stiff defense that does not allow many points or yards to be put up against them. Florida is hoping that they can avoid the upset and continue on their journey to another national championship.
