Brett Brown Rings Bell, 76ers Shower Him in Locker Room After Win vs. Heat
April 25, 2018
While Joel Embiid is "The Process," no one has embodied the Philadelphia 76ers' rebuild more than Brett Brown. The coach stuck around through the leanest stretch of play in franchise history, battling criticism amid four losing seasons as part of an ambitious rebuild.
It all came to fruition Tuesday night.
The Sixers earned a 104-91 win over the Miami Heat, winning their best-of-seven series in five games and advancing to the second round of the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2012.
So did Brown bask in the best moment of his professional career?
Absolutely.

The scene is probably the most joyous first-round celebration in NBA history. Brown rings the Sixers' famous bell and is doused while also imploring his team to stay focused on the task ahead.
