Taco Truck Saves Table for Giannis After Star Wasn't Seated at BelAir Cantina
After Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't exactly receive VIP treatment at a restaurant in Milwaukee, a taco truck made sure to roll out the red carpet for the two-time All-Star.
Twitter user Declan O'Connell shared a photo of the taco truck in downtown Milwaukee which appeared to spray paint a table with the Bucks logo and Antetokounmpo's jersey number:
The situation arose after BelAir Cantina in Milwaukee couldn't clear a table for Antetokounmpo and his girlfriend, Mariah Riddlesprigger, following the Bucks' 104-102 win Sunday over the Boston Celtics. The restaurant apologized on Facebook.
It doesn't look like Antetokounmpo was too upset over the matter. Riddlesprigger shared a photo of a smiling Antetokounmpo on Sunday night:
Maybe he can take out any residual anger on the Celtics. Milwaukee is tied 2-2 in its first-round playoff series with Boston, with Game 5 scheduled for Tuesday at TD Garden.
