Joseph ZuckerApr 22, 2018

Former Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy has opened as a betting favorite ahead of his mixed martial arts professional debut.

According to OddsShark, Hardy is a 1-3 favorite against Brandon Sayles, who's a 47-20 underdog.

ESPN.com's Brett Okamoto reported Saturday that Hardy would fight Sayles as part of the UFC Fight Pass-exclusive show Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. The UFC will monitor Hardy's progress and potentially offer him a contract based on his performance.
