The San Antonio Spurs avoided elimination Sunday with a 103-90 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Game 4 of their first-round playoff series and received 16 points and five assists in a critical performance off the bench from Manu Ginobili.

The outing prompted a reporter to ask Steve Kerr if he wanted to see the 40-year-old guard's birth certificate, and the Warriors head coach joked that he knows Ginobili is old because they played together:

Kerr and Ginobili were teammates on the Spurs during the 2002-03 season when they captured the NBA title.

Kerr is looking to win his third title in four years as a coach, but his team first has to dispatch of the Spurs after missing an opportunity to sweep the opening-round series Sunday in San Antonio.
