Donovan Mitchell Thinks Louisville's Lamar Jackson Is Best QB in 2018 NFL Draft
Donovan Mitchell is friends with quarterback Lamar Jackson from his time spent at Louisville, and the Utah Jazz standout rookie believes Jackson is the best quarterback in the 2018 NFL draft class.
"I think he's the best one, I'm not going to lie," he told Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.
Mitchell may be biased, but he knows a little something about rookies making a huge impact. He's averaging 25.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.7 steals after his first three postseason appearances. After a fantastic regular season, he's in the conversation for Rookie of the Year with the Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons.
If Jackson can post the quarterback equivalent of the numbers Mitchell has put up in his rookie season, he may just back up the Jazz guard's assessment that he's the best quarterback in his class.
