New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski hasn't committed to returning to the NFL in 2018, and now he seems to be messing with media.

The 28-year-old has considered retirement, but Jeff Darlington of ESPN reported earlier this month it was "pretty certain" the Pro Bowler would return. However, Gronk refused to discuss the situation during a press conference Saturday.

Per Jeff Howe of The Athletic, the tight end showed up wearing supercross attire as Gillette Stadium hosted the sport Saturday:

He also evaded questions about his future, via NESN:

Rob Gronkowski was at Gillette Stadium on Saturday on behalf of the Monster Energy Supercross team. He was, unsurprisingly, asked about his status for the 2018 season. Here's everything he had to say. More: https://t.co/BndxXiS0EC https://t.co/B68iiZNFu0

NESN's Doug Kyed examined a few of the more notable exchanges:

Gronk says Patriots fans will see a "freak-a-leak" when he comes back. So, you are coming back? "(Laughs) Maybe."

Gronk was asked if he'll be attending future optional workouts. "No, I've got riding skills to work on."

If Gronkowski has made a decision about playing, he isn't letting anyone know it.Β  Β
