IPL Results 2018: Scores, Points Table, Schedule, Live Stream Info and More
The Indian Premier League lost its final undefeated team on Thursday, as Sunrisers Hyderabad (178/4) dropped their first match of the 2018 season to Kings XI Punjab (193/3) and lost star batsman Shikhar Dhawan to injury along the way.
The 15-run loss was a blow but could become almost an afterthought if Dhawan's injury has a long-term effect on the 32-year-old. Dhawan took a ball to the elbow early and did not return―such injuries can linger for a long time, even if he does return to the order soon.

Chris Gayle was the standout in Thursday's match with an unbeaten century, putting together 104 from just 63 deliveries to power Kings XI to a win.
As shared by BrokenCricket, it was yet another reminder it's dangerous to sleep on the West Indies star:
The 38-year-old will be an X-factor for Kings XI moving forward, handing their batting lineup a major boost at the top. Lokesh Rahul also ranks in the current top 10 for runs scored, and Punjab is in fine form as the competition heats up.
Hyderabad have only one man in the top 10―Kane Williamson, who bagged a half-century in the loss―and could be in trouble if Dhawan's injury proves serious. The Indian opener ranks among the IPL's most consistent batsmen:
Friday's contest will see Chennai and Rajasthan go head-to-head, with both teams looking to bounce back from defeats. The Super Kings haven't played since Sunday, when Kings XI beat them by just four runs.
It was a fantastic contest that had fans on the edge of their seats, and captain MS Dhoni almost completed a nearly impossible comeback. Even the opponents were in awe:
The match will be played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
