Terry Rozier on Eric Bledsoe Beef: 'I Ain't Got No Bad Blood with Nobody'
Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier is dismissing any notion that he has a feud with Eric Bledsoe of the Milwaukee Bucks.
"I ain't got no bad blood with nobody," Rozier said Thursday,ย per ESPN'sย Chris Forsberg. "Everybody out here play basketball. Ain't nobody no boxers or none of that stuff. I'm not really worried about all that. I'm not caught up in that. I'm worried about Celtics and Bucks, how can I help my team get past the first round?"
After the Celtics defeated Milwaukee 120-106 in Game 2 on Tuesday, Bledsoe acted like he had no idea who Rozier was:
Following Boston's 113-107 overtime win over the Bucks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs on Sunday,ย Matt Velazquezย of theย Journal Sentinelย noted Rozier referred to Bledsoe as "Drew," a reference to former New England Patriots quarterback Drew Bledsoe.ย
On Thursday, Rozier noted that was "aย huge mistake," but "it is what it is now."
Rozier and Bledsoe have primarily been matched up against each other in the series, with the Celtics star dominating thus far. He has 46 points, 11 assists and zero turnovers in 78 minutes through two games.ย
The Celtics and Bucks will play Game 3 of their playoff series on Friday at theย BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.ย
