Liverpool Unveil New Home Kit for 2018-19 Season
Liverpool have revealed the first pictures of their new home kit for the 2018-19 season, which retains much of the popular design of the current shirt but with the addition of subtle stripes on the front and a two-button polo collar, per Chris Shaw for LiverpoolFC.com.
The first images of players in the new kit were released on Thursday morning:

The "rich, deep red" remains, along with the 96 emblem to commemorate the Hillsborough tragedy. New Balance is still the kit manufacturer, once again opting for a classic design.
"Our kit isn't just something we wear to play—it is part of who we are as a team," captain Jordan Henderson said of the kit launch. "I have no doubt that our fans will love the new kit and will wear it with pride when supporting us this coming season."
Liverpool also created a short video to celebrate the launch:
The kit, available to pre-order before its official release on May 11, also has a new font for the names and numbers on the back, which was chosen to reflect the typeface used throughout Anfield and on road signs in the area, per Sam Williams for LiverpoolFC.com. The goalkeeper jersey will be yellow next season with black lettering.
Alongside the official announcement, Liverpool have pledged to donate 125 shirts to children at local schools who are linked with the Red Neighbours programme, a charitable initiative started by the club in January 2017.
Liverpool will face AS Roma in the Champions League semi-final first leg on April 24 as favourites to progress to the final, which means Jurgen Klopp's players could pull on the new shirt as European champions.
