Quin Snyder After Jazz Beat Thunder in Game 2: Team's Strength Is 'Our Team'
When asked what he considers to be the strength of the Utah Jazz, head coach Quin Snyder could have said many things. Rudy Gobert's defense? Sure. Donovan Mitchell's prolific scoring? Absolutely. Even Ricky Rubio's ascent could have warranted a mention.
Instead, we got this:
"The strength of our team is our team," Snyder told reporters after Wednesday's Game 2 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Of course, we know what Snyder meant. The implication here is that he's saying the Jazz's teamwork—their unselfishness, passing and communication—is more important than one individual factor.
The words, however, came out something more akin to a Yogi Berra quote.
Snyder's team came back in the fourth quarter for a 102-95 win over Oklahoma City to even the series. The ceiling really is the roof for the Jazz.
