4-Star LB Prospect Jonathan Perkins Commits to Oklahoma over Oregon, LSU, More
The Oklahoma Sooners' 2019 recruiting class just got another boost.
Linebacker Jonathan Perkins committed to Oklahoma on Wednesday via Twitter:

According to 247Sports, Perkins is a 4-star recruit and is the 18th-ranked outside linebacker in his class.
He was also recruited by the likes of the Illinois Fighting Illini, the LSU Tigers and the Oregon Ducks. In the end, the San Bernardino, California, native chose to head east.
Perkins becomes the latest highly rated prospect to commit to play college ball in Norman. Last week, 4-star players Theo Wease, Arjei Henderson and Jamal Morris all announced their intention to play for Lincoln Riley.
The Sooners currently have the second-best recruiting class of 2019, per 247Sports.
Oklahoma has never had a problem landing offensive playmakers. With Perkins, Morris and Jarrian Jones, Riley has the foundation for a strong defense in the future.
