Donovan Mitchell Will Start Game 2 vs. Thunder Despite Foot Injury

Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell was a game-time decision because of a foot injury for Game 2 of Utah's Western Conference playoff series against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday. However, the team announced he will start.

The Jazz announced Mitchell's MRI revealed a contusion, leaving his status for Game 2 up in the air.

Despite the injury, Mitchell led all Jazz players with 27 points and 10 rebounds in Game 1.

Utah will attempt to even the series against Oklahoma City at one game apiece Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET before heading home for Game 3 on Saturday at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
