Rajasthan Royals vs. Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR were impressive in thrashing Delhi Daredevils by 71 runs on Monday.

A half century from Nitish Rana and an explosive 12-ball 41 from Andre Russell saw them set a target of 201 for Delhi, and some impeccable bowling meant the Daredevils didn't even get close, falling to 129 all out in the 15th over.

Sunil Narine was the pick of the bowlers for Kolkata as they claimed their second victory of the 2018 IPL, with the West Indian taking his 100th wicket, per ESPN Cricinfo's Bharath Seervi:

They should take plenty of momentum into Wednesday's clash with the Royals, but the Rajasthan outfit are also in winning touch.

They lost their opener on returning to the tournament after a two-year suspension. But the Royals go into their clash with KKR on the back of wins over Delhi and RCB.

Skipper and opener Ajinkya Rahane will be a key man for Kolkata to target if they are to beat Rajasthan, but Sanju Samson is arguably an even more important scalp.

The 23-year-old hit an unbeaten 92 from 45 balls in the defeat of Bangalore, an innings that included 10 sixes.

He is second in the Orange Cap rankings for most runs, just behind Kohli. His 178 runs have come from just three innings, and he is averaging 89.00.

KKR have the bowling attack to cause some problems for Rajasthan's high scorers, which should make for a fascinating contest between the two sides at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
