Photos of Van Targeted in Shooting of Floyd Mayweather's Bodyguard Revealed
Earlier this month, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was present when Greg La Rosa, who was working as a bodyguard for the retired boxer, was shot while in a vehicle outside of an Atlanta hotel.
On Tuesday, TMZ released photos showing the vehicle covered in bullet holes:
The 41-year-old retired boxer is believed to have been in a different vehicle at the time of the shooting. The bodyguard was taken to the hospital and is now recovering at home, but nobody else was injured.
The shooting occurred outside of the InterContinental Buckhead Hotel around 3 a.m. ET. The police detailed the situation, via TMZ:
"Another vehicle pulled up beside them at the intersection of Peachtree Road and Highland Drive and fired several times at one of the vehicles.
"All three vehicles fled and reported being followed for a distance." "After losing the vehicle that was following them, the victim's vehicle drove to Grady Hospital where the victim was treated for a gunshot wound to the leg and is in stable condition."
Police believe it was a targeted attack. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Lauren Foreman, police do not know what led to the shooting.
No arrests have been made.
