Last year, matches were split between the United States, China and Singapore, but this summer the tournament will take on even more of a global feel as venues around Europe will come into play.
The ICC recently revealed the host cities:
Included in the venues once again is Michigan Stadium, known as "The Big House," which is the world's second-largest stadium.
Per BBC Sport's Simon Stone, the Ann Arbor venue has a capacity of 107,000 and was filled with a record-breaking 109,000 people when United played Real Madrid in the International Champions Cup in 2014.
The tournament will also grant a look at some of the world's best players ahead of the new season, with the lineup packed with UEFA Champions League talent.
Champions League semi-finalists Roma are eagerly awaiting their participation:
The talents of Lionel Messi and Neymar will also be on display, while the chance to see Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo in action will also be among the biggest attractions.
He'll be taking part in the ICC on the back of attending the World Cup with Portugal, and he'll potentially have picked up his third Champions League title in a row by then, too.
Per OptaJohan, he has lit up Europe's premier competition once again this season:
"15 - 15 or more goals in a single Champions League campaign:
— OptaJohan (@OptaJohan) April 11, 2018"
Saviour.
He's set to take on former club United, as well as Roma and Juventus, against whom he scored one of the goals of his career earlier this month with a spectacular bicycle kick.
While the stakes and drama in such clashes cannot be replicated in pre-season friendlies, there's still plenty of entertainment to be had.
