DeMarcus Cousins Reportedly Flew to Las Vegas Home, Not Coachella

New Orleans Pelicans big man DeMarcus Cousins was reportedly flying to his new home in Las Vegas and not to the Mojave Desert to enjoy some music this past weekend.

According to a Monday article from ESPN.com, sources told The Undefeated's Marc J. Spears that Cousins flew on an apparent private flight to his new home in Sin City and not to the Coachella music festival.

The confusion came when the caption of the Instagram photo of Cousins flying referenced Coachella. The idea that Cousins was going to the festival was especially odd since his Pelicans played the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 1 of their playoff series Saturday:

Despite Cousins' absence due to his season-ending Achilles injury, the Pelicans seized home-court advantage with a 97-95 victory. Anthony Davis led the way with 35 points, 14 rebounds and four blocks.
