Chelsea Transfer News: Robert Lewandowski 'Offered' to Blues Amid Exit Rumours
Robert Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, is said to be shopping the Bayern Munich man around and is working on a deal with Chelsea, if the latest rumours are to be believed.
According to an exclusive from the Daily Star Sunday's Paul Hetherington, Real Madrid remain the favourites to sign the Poland international, while Manchester City and Liverpool could also pursue the forward.
Transfer links with Madrid have been most frequent in the past few months, but Hetherington added a whole host of Premier League clubs to the mix.

City and Liverpool are managed by men who have previously worked with Lewandowski―Pep Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp, respectively―and Manchester United could also be on the lookout.

Zahavi previously told Przeglad Sportowy (h/t AS) Lewandowski's future is up in the air, leaving the door open for both a summer move and a stay with Bayern.
AS were adamant Zahavi's primary goal is to bring Lewandowski to Madrid but also acknowledged Bayern have no intention of selling.
Per sportswriter Tom Allnutt, the Bavarians have made that clear:
The rumour mill has continued to churn out steady reports despite Bayern's insistence, though.
Zahavi has a reputation for getting his players the move they desire, and Lewandowski's decision to hire him earlier this year indicated that's what he wants, per Sky Sports News.
The 29-year-old has been Bayern's top option in attack for years, providing the club with a steady stream of goals every season since he joined from Borussia Dortmund. He has scored 27 in the Bundesliga this term, by far the best mark of anyone on the team.
Here's a look at some of his highlights:
He has reached huge heights in Germany, leading some to believe he could be ready for a new challenge. He's also still in his prime, and his earning potential will likely never be higher than it is right now.
The links to Chelsea are curious, though. The Blues have endured a miserable season and are almost surely set to part with manager Antonio Conte, leading to plenty of uncertainty in the summer.
It's not clear who the head coach's replacement will be or if they'll even want Lewandowski on their team, and the Blues are expected to keep transfer discussions to a minimum until those issues are cleared up.

From Lewandowski's point of view, west London hardly presents an appealing destination at this point, given the poor results this season and lack of clear direction. He's unlikely to leave Bayern unless he can join a club where he'll have a real shot of winning the UEFA Champions League.
If he does end up leaving Bavaria―which is far from a foregone conclusion―Madrid is the logical destination. Los Blancos have a need for a steady scorer given Karim Benzema's issues this season, and they're expected to spend big on the position in the summer.
City and Liverpool both have enough attacking firepower going into the summer transfer window, and United added Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku in the past season―they too are unlikely to throw a huge chunk of money at the position again.
The Blues may well seek an upgrade on Alvaro Morata, but they'll likely have to set their sights a little lower than Lewandowski.
