New York fired Jeff Hornacek on Thursday after he went 60-104 in two seasons as coach. Seeing an opening, Metta World Peace, who played for the Knicks in 2013-14, tossed his hat into the ring via Twitter:

The former NBA Defensive Player of the Year offered a glimpse of his coaching philosophy:
World Peace, 38, last played in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2016-17 season. He also joined the BIG3 last year.
