Daryl Morey: Knicks Issues All Have 'Common Denominator'
Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey offered a cryptic response when asked about the New York Knicks' struggles on the court.
In an "Ask Me Anything" thread on Reddit, a fan asked Morey what the Knicks should change so they don't "suck forever."
"There is a common denominator to all their issues," Morey replied, per The Score's Andrew Joe Potter.
Morey didn't elaborate on his answer.
The Knicks will start next season with their 11th different head coach since Jeff Van Gundy resigned in December 2001. Jeff Hornacek was dismissed as head coach on Thursday after going 60-104 in two seasons with the team.
Owner James Dolan has led the Knicks to just eight playoff appearances in the past 21 seasons, although they did make the NBA Finals in 1999, losing to the San Antonio Spurs. Their current five-year playoff drought is the third-longest streak in franchise history.
