Tom Brady Back To Normal

Tony SantorsaOct 23, 2009

New England's impressive man-handling win over the Tennessee Titans opened eyes all across New England and the most frequent question was asked: "Is Tom Brady back?".

Well first is first, Tennessee just isn't a good football team right now with a record at 0-6 and a completely injured secondary. This was the first time New England has played a non-undefeated team this year, so that meant that Brady was able to pick apart a sub-par secondary for the first time this season.

Brady doubled his touchdown pass total on the year with 6 scores on Sunday afternoon. He also set an NFL record with 5 touchdowns in one quarter (second quarter) and racked up 380 total passing yards. This was the week that fantasy owners were waiting for.

Watching the game it seemed as the snowy weather conditions didn't effect New England at all but it sure effected the Titans.

You might say that Brady's performanec wasn't impressive and that quarterbacks like Peyton Manning or Drew Brees could performed just as well, but still this was a performance that Brady needed. This was a huge confidence boaster for not only Brady, but all Patriot Nation and New England's coaching staff.

Tom Brady and the Patriots travel to London, England to play against yet again another winless team; the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is perfect for Brady. This will allow Brady to face another sub-par defense and hopefully this will allow him to get rolling.

All New England has to do is to keep their focus and travel to London as this is just a business trip. Brady will likley be blitzed by the Bucs and he will need to keep his calm and hopefully he'll find himself with another 300 yard game with over 4 touchdown passes.
